News : Market United in IAB Award Finals

Market United are delighted to announce that their Have A Super Christmas campaign (for client Virgin Money) has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Awards.

The campaign included the development of a micro-site, viral email and banner ads which promoted Virgin Super. In the hotly contested category of Financial Services, the campaign has been selected for an award in the creative stream and will be competing against campaigns developed by M&C Saatchi and NetX.

“Superannuation is an issue that generally seems to be filed in consumers’ ‘I’ll-think-about-it-when-I-really-have-to’ basket,” says Market United MD Marc Loveridge. “This campaign allowed people to have some fun with super during the silly season and raised awareness of a new player in the superannuation market. We’re thrilled that the campaign has been chosen as a finalist.”

Founded by online heavyweights Fairfax Digital, News Digital Media, Yahoo!7, Sensis, NineMSN and Google, the IAB Awards identify Australia’s elite online and interactive advertising and marketing campaigns, rewarding creativity, innovation and effectiveness.
